♥ Cloth-Piecing ♥

Ich hatte eine kleine Schritt für Schritt Anleitung zum Thema „Cloth Piecing“ für Euch geschrieben. Ihr kennt bereits das „Paper Piecing“, das „Cloth Piecing“ baut hierauf auf. Also, nun geht es los!

Ihr braucht:

• Stempelkissen StazOn – Jet Black
• Stempelkissen StazOn – Opaque Cotton White
• Karteikarte/Aquarellpapier
• Stempelmotive
• Schere/Cutter
• Stoffe
• Aslanfolie
• Aquarellstifte, Prisma, Copics, etc.
• Wassertankpinsel, Pinsel, Papierwischer, etc.
• ggf. Gelstifte
• ggf. 3D-Pads

i have written a little step by step guide on "Cloth Piecing" for you. You already know the "Paper Piecing", the Cloth Piecing builds on this. So, here we go!
 

You need:

• Ink pad stazon - Jet Black
• Ink pad stazon - Opaque Cotton White
• Paper / watercolor paper
• Stamp Designs
• Scissors / Cutter
• fabrics
• Aslan Foil
• Watercolor pencils, Prisma, Copics, etc.
• Water Brush, brush, paper wipers, etc.
• If necessary Gel Pens
• If necessary 3D-Pads

Ich habe das gleiche Motiv einmal auf Karteikarte, Aslanfolie und auf verschiedenen Stoffen abgestempelt. Auf der Karteikarte, der Aslanfolie und dem hellen Stoff mit dem schwarzen und auf dem dunklen Stoff mit dem weißen StazOn Stempelkissen.

I have stamped the same image on one card, Aslan foil and on different materials. On the card, the foil and the light fabric with the black and the dark fabric with the white stazon ink.

Order on the pictures: Paper - Aslan Foil - Fabric

Die Stempelabdrücke auf der Karteikarte coloriert ihr jetzt zuerst mit euren Aquarellstiften, Prismas, Copics, etc. D. h. ihr malt erst einmal die Gesichter, die Hände und Schuhe, etc. aus. Wenn ihr damit fertig seid, könnt ihr die Motive auf der Aslanfolie und den Stoffen mit einer Schere ausschneiden. Die Stoffe schneidet ihr bitte ganz vorsichtig aus! Es ist ein bisschen schwierig, besonders bei Samtstoffen.

Now you're going to color your images on the paper with your watercolor pencils, prismacolor pencils, Copics, etc. You only colour the parts which will not be covered with fabric (faces, hands and shoes, etc.). When you're done so, you could cut the images of Aslan foil and the fabrics with sharp scissors. You have to cut the fabric carefully, please! It's a bit difficult, especially in velvet.

Weiter geht es mit der Aslanfolie. Zieht bitte die altrosa Folie ab und klebt die bestempelte Aslanfolie auf euer Motiv auf der Karteikarte auf.

Now on to the Aslan foil. Remove the pink foil and adhere the stamped foil on your images on the paper.

zieht ihr die letzte Schutzschicht der Aslanfolie ab und klebt die Stoffe vorsichtig auf die Motive. So sollten eure Ergebnisse jetzt aussehen:

Now remove the last protective film of the Aslan foil and adhere the fabrics carefully on your images. It should looks like that now:

Zum Schluss coloriert ihr die Motive noch zu Ende. Die Rosen hier habe ich komplett mit Metallic Gelstiften coloriert. Bei der Tilda-Ehefrau habe ich die beiden Arme und beim Edwin-Ehemann noch die Fliege in 3D aufgepeppt.

At last you're going to color the rest of your images. I coloured the roses of my image with metallic gel pens. I added the Arms from Tilda and the Bow from Edwin in 3D.

Den Ideen sind beim „Cloth Piecing“ keine Grenzen gesetzt, so habe ich schon diverse Materialien dafür genommen. Hier habe ich noch ein paar Ideenanregungen für euch zusammengestellt:
